Frequently Asked Questions About Our Baseball Bats
Getting the most information you can before you choose your bat will help you select the best model for your needs.
Is it Possible to get a BBCOR Certified Bat that is Lighter than Drop 3?
No. All BBCOR bats have a drop 3 bat weight to length ratio. A bat can not receive the BBCOR certification if it is not a drop 3 bat.
Is a USSSA bat better than a USA bat?
If both types of bats are legal for use in your league, you are much better off going with USSSA certified bats. They will have more pop than USA certified models. The USA certification has a more restrictive recoil velocity than the USSSA certification. Therefore the ball is allowed to jump off the USSSA models faster than what is allowed for USA certified models.
Do Wood Bats Have a Warranty?
That depends on the model you purchase. High end bats made by Mizuno, Victus and Louisville Slugger do come with a warranty. However, they typically are warrantied by the manufacturer for only 30 days from the date of purchase. Mizuno bamboo bats do come with a 60 day manufacturer warranty.
