The Samurai shin guards design offers a hard covering on top of the foot . It also blends a full guard to cover the entire front of the lower leg. The padding stretches around the inside of the calf. There is a padding down the sides to protect the catcher's ankles. In addition, each guard uses durable stainless steel buckles that help keep the shin guards securely on the leg.
